Technique Classes 2026 Summer Session

Our Technique Classes are our recreational line classes. These classes are a casual, non-competitive dance lesson designed for enjoyment, fitness, and social engagement rather than competitive/performance training. These classes are open to all skill levels and ages, focusing on fun, creativity, and personal growth in a relaxed and supportive environment.

*Note - Summer Session Fees: K-5th Technique $48 for the 6 week session or $10 drop in, 6th-12th Technique $60 for the 6 week session or $15 drop in

K-5th Techniques - $32/month or $10 drop in

6th-12th Techniques - $40/month or $15 drop in

K-5th Aged Groups

  • Dancers will learn basics of ballet while developing coordination, balance, flexibility and strength. We emphasize on building confidence, self-expression and a love for dance. Whether beginners or with prior experience, students are encouraged to progress at their own pace while having fun.

  • Dancers will learn fundamentals of tap dance in an exciting and upbeat class. We focus on developing coordination, rhythm, and musicality while learning the joys of making music with our feet. This class will be full of energy, creativity and excitement, helping students build confidence and self paced progress

  • Dancers will learn traditional jazz techniques while building coordination, flexibility, and musicality. This class is energetic, engaging and a great way for students to confidence while having fun with movement. We will also work on the introduction of lyrical stylization and recognizing the differences between jazz and lyrical dances.

  • Dancers will learn hip hop steps and combinations set to upbeat music. This class emphasizes coordination, musicality and body awareness through games, drills and short routines that keep students engaged and active. This class encourages a love of movement, builds coordination and rhythm and fosters confidence in a supportive, playful environment.

6th-12th Aged Groups

  • Dancers can except a little more structured yet supportive class that builds upon ballet fundamentals while enhancing technique, strength, flexibility, and artistry. This class focuses on refining movement quality and developing a deeper understanding of ballet principles. This class is designed to help dancers grow in technique, confidence and artistry, whether beginner or advanced.

  • Dancers can except a fast-paced, rhythm focused class that builds on foundational tap technique while enhancing musicality, coordination and more intricate combinations. This class helps students refine their tap skills while fostering creativity and rhythm awareness.

  • Dancers can except a dynamic blend of jazz technique and the expressive, flowing movements of lyrical dance. This class focuses on building strength, flexibility, musicality and emotional connection to movement. Students will work on refining technique and personal artistry. This class helps dancers develop a balance of strength, control and expressive movements while refining their jazz and lyrical techniques.

  • Dancers will learn foundational hip hop moves, grooves and combinations set to upbeat music. This class emphasizes musicality, body awareness and confidence through structured instruction, interactive drills and freestyle opportunities. This class is perfect for students who want an active, social and enjoyable way to stay fit, build confidence and express themselves through dance.
